Shinzaburo TAKEDA -- Oaxaca ( Democracia -- Democracy)

El Mtro. Shinzaburo Takeda nace en Jap6n en el año de 1935, y se gradúa de la Universidad de las Aries de Tokio en el ano de 1957. En 1963, se muda a Mexico, trabajando inicial mente para el Museo Nacional de las Cu/turas, mientras realizaba las que serf an sus obras de arte tempranas. En 1978, traslada su taller y su vida a Oaxaca, donde, a partir de ese momen ta, empieza a construir a incontab/es genera ciones de artistas coma docente de la Licencia tura de Aries P/asticas y Visua/es de la UABJO, ta! cual lo hace en la actualidad. "Mi grabado sobre el tema de Democracia es un homenaje a los pueblos de Mexico, que tienen la libertad para exigir sus derechos para el bien comun, luchando siempre contra las in justicias en busca de la igualdad."

Master Shinzaburo Takeda was born in Japan in 1935, and graduated from the Tokyo Uni versity of Arts in 1957. In 1963, he moved to Mexico, initially working for the National Mu seum of Cultures, while creating his early works of art. In 1978, he moved his workshop and his life to Oaxaca, where, from that mo ment on, he began to build countless genera tions of artists as a teacher at UABJO in the Degree in Visual and Plastic Arts, something he does until now. "My print on the theme of Democracy is a tribute to the peoples of Mexico, who have the freedom to demand their rights for the common good, always fighting against injus tices in search of equality."
